Selma University


Selma University is a private Bible college located in Selma Alabama and affiliated with the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention. Founded in 1878 by the Reverends W. H. McAlphine, James A. Foster and R. Murrell, the purpose of the school was to prepare better leaders for the church and school. In the Fall of 2000, Selma University began its transformation from a Christian liberal arts college to a Bible college.
